Anybody knows how to set a server to play with some friends? (IWD2)

    hi ... i want to know if i need anything special to play on internet with 2 friends of mine.
    if anyone can answer me... i will be gratefull forever...

    you would need the same patch if any. Further one of you with a permanent IP adress must host a TCP-IP game. Then the remaining two of you must join the TCP-IP game and type in the Host's IP adress.

    To play TCP-IP at all you must all have TCP protocals installed in network settings. You should all have that as a standard setting unless something strange has happened. Else just choose install protocal and choose TCP-IP. You must also make sure to use the same subnet and approximately the same IP adresses. This is also configured under network settings.

    In IWD you will have to click on the box in the main menu that says singleplayer and change it to TCP-ip.
