[IMG] Anyone see it on PBS? Sort of a sequel to 1900 House?
Three families lived as if on the Montana Frontier in 1860-something fashion. Pretty cool. Interesting families and consequences of the stay for the relationships and so on. If anyone saw it, that one family from CA.? I never would have thought the dude was so loaded as to have that huge beachfront house waiting for him when he got back!

Orkist ... Yeah, we watched it last night. My wife was drooling over the scenary and the simplicity of the life-style. I like the idea of chopping wood, growing & hunting my own food. We're just wondering how expensive that "experiment" would be. The family from Malibu seemed to be loaded!

And I thought that I was the only PBS geek on the forum ;) :book::square:

Mathetais, if your good at it, you can do it for free. :)

I lived in Colorado when I was younger and we lived amlost exactly like that. We had no running water, no electricity, and we farmed most of our own food.

I had a whole farm full of animals and we eventually ended up with four horses which are my favorite.

I could go on that show and "show" them a thing or two. Could anyone not stop laughing at the one lady who thought her whole life had tumbled down around her ears cause she couldn't wear make up. LOL
