Has anyone attempted to create a LOTR mod for BG1/BG2/IWD? If not, where could one get the tools to attempt to do so?

I think http://www.teambg.com have some useful utilities, or if not, at least links or information to them. There's some sorta infinity engine editor freely available to download....maybe there's info at BioWare's site? :)

I think I'd love to have Gandalf in my party...what level would he be though? ;)

  3. LOTR is kinda big and it would take months maybe years, but it could be fun. Im just wondering what class Gandalf is.. Mage or sorcerers.. ? eh .. :)

The idea is good, but the Ad&D rules don't fit into the world and feeling of Middlearth.

I think Gandalf would be more along the lines of a Mage-Cleric, the ultimate spellcaster.

By the by, Gandalf is an Old Norse name (Viking), and it means "Magic Elf". Just a little extra info for ya.
