Are new familiars possible?

    [​IMG] Well, everyone knows that editors abound for the characters, so you can plays gods. Thats no fun, but what about the familiars? Is there any way to change your familiar (stats, animation, race, etc.) like you can change your character? There is just something so cool about going through the game an nth time with a multi-colored dragon hidden in your backpack...

    As far as I know, I haven't seen such, though it would be cool as I personally think most if not all of the familiars in BG2 suck. I'm glad the BG2 Bioware bug ate mine.

    You can only get one familiar during the game (I don´t know what happens when it dies - I haven´t tried that).
    Your familiars are alignment specific, for example a true-neutracl char would always get a cat as his familiar and son on. By changing your alignment in shadowkeeper, you should be able to get another familiar. That way you can also restore your lost con-point when your familiar dies and you like cheating - but who but a cheating coward would do that? ;)
