A post in the ally got me to thinking about this. If you are a Jimmy Buffett fan, lets hear:

Your favorite song (no picking on anyone for theirs)

    Favorite album

Best concert experience (if you have been to one)

Any thing else memorable or notable.

    For me:

Song: I heard I was in town

    Album: Barometer Soup

Concert: I keep having things come up that prevent me from going, come on Jimmy, keep touring!

For those of you who are not fans because you have never really listened to his music, buy one of the greatest hits disks, you can find the older ones cheap, and when you are ready to truly relax, throw it in the player, close your eyes and imagine you are in the Tropics drinking your favorite soda (right!) ;) !

Now where did that bottle opener go! :p

I don't know anything about this guy except that he is on the Elmopalooza video singing a song with Kermit the Frog entitled "Caribean(sic) Amphibian." It's a cute tune, and Buffett has a pleasant sound -- trouble is, I don't listen to island music much, not because I don't like the stuff, but because I get seriously depressed by the fact that I'll probably never get back to the tropics!

Song: Pencil Thin Moustache, but it's really hard to choose from there, since I like so many.

Album: It's a toss-up between All The Songs You Know By Heart and Barometer soup, but Barometer Soup tends to be a little more mellow, and that's usually the mood I'm in when I listen to Buffett.

I really have to say that I don't like Maragaritaville at all, and I needed to get that off my chest. Other than that, I'm a true Parrothead, courtesy of my darling mother. I would have a concert experience if the tickets weren't always sold out weeks ahead of time!

(On a side note, there's actually a Margaritaville at the new Universal Studios theme park. Very piratey and it sells a lot of Buffett memorabilia. Pretty cool, all around.)

I'm not a real Parrothead but I love almost every Buffett song I hear. I think my favorite is "He Went to Paris."
