    I havent even bothered buying anything yet, heh, I usually wait till theres a mad rush and your caught in 3 hour queues at Argos for whatever hasnt sold out yet.

    [​IMG] I actually just started yesterday.

    My brother is getting a pair of binoculars that have a digital camera built in.

    My mom a Lladro figurine.

    My brother-in-law (#1) a little indoor basketball gizmo.

    My brother-in-law (#2) a remote controlled car.

    My dad a remote controlled airplane.

    My sister-in-law & sister both getting similar bracelets.

    I still have the Mother-in-law & Father-in-law to go, PLUS my wife and daughter.

    This year holiday shopping is real fun. I won a bunch of e-points at work and can redeem them for "stuff". All the above is from these E Points, and I still have a few left.

    For the wife, she's pushing for jewelry, but I'm thinking a boot to the head ;) (just kidding) I'm actually at a bit of a loss on what to get her as I've spoiled her over the past few years.

    For the baby, mostly art supplies I think. Maybe a few action figures.

    Got lucky this year - my family is going skiing at Christmas this year (and me for the first time) and so that will be our Christmas presents to each other - as for everyone else - haven't thought about it much yet - I usually wait unil October is over to start thinking about Christmas gifts.

    What? Why not Shura?

    Anyway, I havn't started. I usually wait til about 6 hours before (so, something like 2AM) and buy my dad a pizza and my brother a pack of smokes or something. :p

    Kidding, but I always wait until the very last moment possible. I don't know why. This year I'm lucky though because I don't have to buy presents for my sis and mom. They're going to Menzanita, Oregan with my aunt and won't be back until the 29th.

    Except for some very rare instances, where I find a neat gift while I am travelling, I never start Christmas shopping until December. My family has always been big on producing lists of things we need/want for Christmas and birthdays and generally speaking the Christmas lists are not ready until December.

    I don't do Christmas. I don't celebrate the holiday.

    I'm in for the commercialness.

    Shopping? I'll start on December 20th or so.

    And MAt? Wh don't you spoil your wife a little more... like,s say, a bunch of cards that she can sausage at you, like say, "With this card you get a foot massage", "with this card I will do the cleaning" and so forth and so forth? :p

    Mike's family has always exchanged gift on Christmas - purely as a secular, commercial holiday - simply because it's easier than trying to assemble the clans for all 8 nights of Hanukkah. However, when I formally convert, we'll see...

    As for this year, so far I've bought a "Bob the Builder" computer game for my son. I have no idea whatsoever of what to get anyone else. Likely to be the usual restaurant gift certificates for my sister and SIL and their spouses, checks for my sister's kids, jewelry or a trinket for my Mom, etc...

    Seriously, I do dislike the commercialness of Christmas, but since Jesus was born in late Fall (more than likely ... its a matter of debate) and the Christmas holiday is a take over of a pagan festival, I don't mind getting into the gift giving.
