Are you superstitious, if so share your concerns with the rest of us.

I have one superstition, dont say anything about dreams it brings bad luck, you might think i am weird but whenever i hear a dream something bad happens.

Anyway off that topic, what are your superstitions?

 

Generally, I'm not.
However, there were some occurences in my life (a few, not that it's a pattern) that can't be logically explained and in such cases I tend to describe those as result of unknown forces.

No, those were not coincidences, but totally planned stuff!
And I won't talk about it because it perhaps brings a bad luck?

 

Annoying a moderator always brings bad luck - I never do that.

LoL, Yerril -- I once P*ssed off both Blackthorne and Tal in the same topic. I'm better behaved now. Really.

On topic: I shouldn't be, I hate it and reject it intellectually, but I am. In my old lab (I'm a biologist) I made sure to place the sacred totem (a troll doll) on the PCR machine whenever I did a reaction. So it became a joke: the students would say, "I didn't get a PCR product." And I'd say, "Did you remember the troll?"

 

in general I am not superstitious, and now I am thinking it better... no, I am not at all.

 

I'm not superstitious. I don't have any good luck charms or believe that certain things bring bad luck. I walk underneath ladders, I don't believe seeing a black cat or breaking a mirror brings bad fortune.

 

I am not superstitous, BUT it never hurts to be careful...
Therefore I do try to avoid things that are generally thought to bring bad luck if I can do it with ease. For instance I always knock on wood after I have said something like 'I havent been sick for several years'.

 

I'm not superstitious at all.

I just don't walk under ladders incase something is dropped on my head.

I love little cats, no matter the colour and if I break a mirror I have fun finding where all the broken glass went.

Tho I'm not too sure about trolls

 

I'm not superstitious. I walk under ladders, I pet black cats, I rip up 4 leaf clovers, and I breathe under whatever circumstances, unless I'm under water. Oh yeah, why break mirrors? They are life's essentials, to look at myself.

 

Nope, not at all. It makes no sense, and I'm all about making sense, at least to myself... as boring as it may sound.

 

I personally am not, but my aunt is afraid of black cats a lot.

I am Superstitious

I always avoid ladders, My best friend has a black cat that KNOWS I don't trust it, I always pick up four-leaved clovers if I find them, I always say good morning or good afternoon to magpies and always save distressed birds and other animals, I don't kill animals only ants and flies and a whols lot of other stuff, salt, bags that sort of thing, now everyone thinks I am even stranger...

Not in the least but superstitious. I purposely walk under ladders, open umbrellas inside, kill spiders, etc. just to bother superstitious people, like some of my friends, hehehe.

 

Nope, I'm not. Although I do avoid ladders since they're not stable, even when noone's on it... but that's practicality.

no, but i do sometimes go through a 'routine' before an exam or fight. not because of superstition, just because it helps with mental preparation/focus.

 

No i'm not, my grandma destroyed that when i was a child by telling me one gets stupid by eating mustard. I ate a lot of mustard for experience on my own body and nothing happened. After that i tried walking out with wet hair and didn't get the flue. I got myself a black cat. And didn't answered chain-letters. Nothing ever happens. But i still hate people sending chain-letters.

Actually I am superstitious. I dont walk under ladders, I spit three times over my right (and left shoulder, because I am not sure which one it was!) every time I see a black cat cross the street, I dont place my keys or shoes on the table, I am very careful with mirrors aso. These are the ones that I do automaticly. Then there are other's as well, but I sometimes forget them. I also have several obsessions like washing my hands all the time, counting lampposts, when taking a walk I cant pass leaf blowin around without stepping on it aso. Do you have any obsessions?

I have noticed now by writing this that I seem like a kinda disturbed person, lol!
