    I *really* hate FilePlanet. Ever since they switched to this damned "private server" system, I've considered throwing a few bricks through their windows. Now I might use molotov coctails :mad:

    Eh. I just waited in line for two hours to download TDD for Baldur's Gate II, and with five minutes to go, the download page reloaded, but couldn't connect (y'know, the Page Cannot Be Found thing). I didn't notice. Five minutes later, I checked, and saw that. I pressed Reload. I was now scheduled for a THREE hour wait. :mad: :mad: :mad:

    Damn it all. Maybe I should just give in and subscribe to the stupid thing.

    Anyone else wanna curse/support FilePlanet? :p

    For BG1 I downloaded a patch through fileplanet, I had to wait 6 freeking hours.
    So now I have the patch on KaZaA LiTe (Hope I don´t piss off Tal) so you don´t have to go through FP
    With my uploadspeed that should take ... just under 4 hours (Eeeep!!!)

    Oh, yeah, don´t stray from the path.
    Fileplanet must die!! Burn Burn, we don´t need no water let that stupid planet burn!! :mad: :mad:

    The public servers of Fileplanet are nothing but crap amongst servers...

    How can you wait up to a week in a line to download a damned low interest file? (I was downloading Dark Reign 1.4 patch for a friend's collection) I was made to wait for about 142 hours!

    Of course I downloaded it from Activision's servers.

    I mean; How many people on Earth are downloading at the SAME time at the SAME place 24/7?

    Fileplanet deserves to die... if they don't improve.

    Yeah, file planet is terrible. If there's a file I want/need, and the primary link is on fp, I use an ftp search and google search to find another mirror.

    Or I basically just write that file off [my taxes]. There's a point where you just call it even, and walk away. A link to fp is that point...

    [​IMG] I stopped going to fileplanet after I got about six downloads from the games nobody plays :cool: . However, I did have to wait two hours just to download a 2000 KB piece of game music. Why don't we sign a petition and bring it to them through email? (actually, after viewing their service, I don't think they will even check their email from their users)

    I HATE it VERY much too :mad: :mad: :mad:

    I wanted to downlas TDD but i had to wait for hours but then somewhere close to the end something bad happened (i dont know what) and it threw me off :mad: :mad:
    Luckily they set up a new server and i was Very lucky to get there at the right time to be one of the first to notice it :) After that i dont use it anymore. I rather wouldnt say what i use now(Tal wouldnt like it) ;) ;)
