I know not any site, yet if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Here and there and by PM... Up to you. I'm an addict. I live in Arthurian word. I am an Arthurian paladin. I even speak Latin and pray in Latin at times. I am a real life paladin (no d&d reference in this whole post). Even the touch of my hands does help people. I do detect evil. I do discern lies. But keeping to the subject I read more about Arthurian legends than I can possibly remember. Will be glad to be of some help.

What secret? They are not powerful enough to destroy Christianity. Even consorting with daemons hasn't help them so far :) .

for the basics read either geoffrey of monmouths History of the kings of britain or Arthur's death (by Mallory or the pre-mallory version). Interesting read!

if you can find it, there is a good collection of arthurian legends by an author called roger lancelyn green, who also collected the robin hood legends. if memory serves me, he also studied under tolkien...

john and caitlin matthews have also produced quite a lot of stuff on arthur, merlin and the whole celtic bit.

Last summer, I participated in a live-ation roleplaying game that was set in Camelot. It was an incredible experience... I played a Saxon spy :) It was a magnificent experience.

I still burst out laughing when I think of the possibility of the sequel, Camelot: The day after... :p

Okay I would recommend the following books, as they all pertain to the kind of mythology you are looking for. Some are more fictious than others.

    Beowulf
A poem about a great leader a warrior
    (3000+ lines)

The Canterbury Tales by Geoffery Chaucer
Written in old english. Numerous poems that deal with the history and living in the age.

The once and Future King by T.H. White
One of the better books based on the presumed life and times of King Arthur

The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley
The story of the women that helped King Arthur come to power and how the tried to steal it from them (good but long)

Hope this helps you, enjoy the reading

If you get to Welsh sources that will be fun for you. The de-chanson-de-gestised approach. Keltic-Roman Britain version of Lawhead is my favourite. Gemmel's well as well althogh Lawhead's better.
