Assertion Error need Help in OS X

    Hey
    I recently received Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn for my birthday. I had already had Throne of Bhaal. Yesterday I installed both games and I made up my characters in the multiplayer game. I clicked the checks and then clicked to start my game up in a new game of Shadows of Amn. It started to load and then the game crashed and I got this assertion error: An assertion failed in InfGame.cpp at line number 6389. I am running these games on a iMac G4 15" flatscreen with an 800 MHz PowerPC G4 processer and 256 MB of RAM on Mac OS X (10.3-Panther). My video card is a nVIDIA GeForce2 MX with 32 MB of VRAM (total). I have numerous mods installed such as Tactics, Ease of Use, Item Upgrade, Freedom's Reign and Reign of Virtue, and Alex Macintosh. If you know of a solution to this problem I would greatly appreciate the help. And don't even say try to contact macplay because they take forever to respond to you. (I did email them but it will probably be a long time until i get a response.
