Astrolab, help, please!

    [​IMG] Help! I got 3/4 of the pieces and can't find the last one. I've got the one that looks like... OO| only turned right side up, the gear, big circle with holes in it and a J looking piece. A hook looking piece sticking out of a ball. What am I missing?! I did the presit quest (I think), knight, found one in a war room and killed a shadow. I don't have any past saves before the presit quest, think something went terribly wrong? Please helP!

    Uh... ok, I looked at my journal entries and it said I've completed the presit and knight slaying quests. It says Kaylessa gave me a piece but not the other person? Is it supposta be this way? As I said before, I also slayed all those shadows and stuff and somehow ended up with another piece, someone please help!

    Check the IWD section on this board. I go into great detail describing where all four parts to the Astrolobe are in regards to the IWD Online Solution.

    I just read the pre-review of BG2 on Gamespot. I'm not looking forward to the BG2 Online Solution ;)

    send me some email, I don't think I ever got a piece at the tower section, 6a. I got the elven chain, no piece, either that I didn't get one from the presit quest. I think I might have gotten hit by some freaky bug.
    Oh, I found my elven chain mail in a different location then you did, in 6a where you found the piece, so I'm lost as far as the last piece.

    1st part is located on an isolated 1st level part (inside of the garbage pile)
    2nd part is located in a war council room with map on the table (on the table near right wall)
    3rd part is located in a tower with shadows of elven priests on the 2nd level (on the altar table)
    4th part is given to you by former captain of elven tower for putting to rest her comrades (you'll find it on her corpse). What you are missing 8-) ?

    Exactly.

    Looking at the solution with Aldarin's explination:

    1st part is found on The Severed Hand LVL 1

    2nd part is found The Severed Hand LVL 6 in tower 6D in the room with the map on the table.

    3rd part is found on The Severed Hand LVL 6 in tower 6A in the room with the altar.

    4th part is found on The Severed Hand LVL 5 in tower 5B on Kaylessa which is given to you apon your QUEST FINALE and when you kill her.
