Athkatla Sacked?

    Recently i realized that one of the mercenaries in the tavern in amekatheran says that athkatla was overrun recently by some empire and sacked :confused: ???
    This completely conflicts with stories of npc's you recall to hell and is not related to anywhere else in the game...
    Is this part of the story that was forgotten or ruled out?? I never noticed that it was said anywhere else before... :hmm:

    maybe it was just a side line that wasnt suppsoed to be cared about, as you never go back. Dont know.

    Seeing as how he was in a tavern, he could have been a drunken idiot. At that point though, I don't see what it matters. Which hell are you talking about? The one with Irenicus or the Abyss (Pocket Plane)?

    but could you tell us the exact words? I doubt it is what you thought he meant. The mercenary was probably just talking about an attack on Athkatla for I doubt it would disappear just like that. Also, that would be pretty big news and if no one else is talking about it, it probably was a drunk spouting his mouth - a drunk programmer that is.

    Above the Twisted Rune? Huh? The Twisted Rune is in the Bridge District of Athkatla. Amkethran is one of the cities in ToB, far south of Athkatla. Am I missing something here?

    [​IMG] Perhaps the mage in the tavern in Amkethran is the same guy from the Twisted Rune in Athkatla... or he might have the same name.

    But I saw the same thing. The merchary in the tavern does mention that Athkatla has been sacked.
