Is there a way to avoid resting when your party is tired and they are all showing that evil red dripping smile of fatigue on their portraits? Is there a spell or something I can use to relieve their fatigue?

No, there is no spell. Find a place to bed down. The penalties are not the end of the world (usually), but their constant complaining is pretty annoying.

If your charecters have a high Con, you can pretty much go on and on without resting.
But like Eric said, you had better get that 8 hour sleep once they are fatigued. I really dont like the -1 to rolls penalty.

Nope...the only way to "dispel" the fatigue is by resting at least 8 hours.

    Not true, sort of.

You could always kill the fatigued character then use Raise Dead/Resurrection. That will cure the fatigue.

Then there's Wish... If you get the 'have all party members rested and their spells renewed' effect, you restore everything - also that Wish spell...

Yes, that's true...but in order to have those spells ready you have to rest at some time. :D

Rastor's way is very sadistic...i have to try it one of this days, just for the pleasure of it. At times their bantering about being tired is annoying, maybe annoying enough to kill the bastards... :D

Raise Dead/Resurrection will not cure the fatigue.

    @ Laertis

take one Sorcerer with you (unmodded=PC); lvl up until you hit Spl-lvl 9 to aquire Wish, make sure you have high wisdom(18+), do all this before windspear hills, as the rest there is forced (more of these are in the game, but I can't remember where at the moment). From now on you can replenish everyone/spells, without increasing game-time.

I don't think this to be fun and it needs a primary meelee party (although small) to acquire the needed XP (bored to death stylewise).

Maybe the initiator of this topic is pleased with this solution

In SoA you can't cast 9th level spells with a sorc or mage, only from a few scrolls an AFAIK there is no wish scroll found in SoA. IIRC every 8 hours of gametime that you don't rest you get another -1 penalty to just about everything, at one point i had a penalty of -10 (traveling from town to town without resting in between).
