Backstab

    [​IMG] how do you use backstab i can hide in shadows but not use the backstab

    you have to stand behind them, and have a melee wepon equiped

    backstabbing works with small swords. So backstabbing with a twohanded sword will not work. Daggers and shortswords will.

    In BG you can backstab with: Dagger, Short Sword and Long Sword (not with Bastard Sword)

    WHen you are hid in shadows, approach the enemy and when you are so close to him that you can hit him, just attack him with the melee weapon. When you hit the enemy at the first attack, you do backstab damage. When you miss the enemy, he have seen you before the next attack and then you can't do backstab damage anymore.

    [​IMG] How does Backstab work when you are invisible? (i.e. Can you keep stabbing for the same amount of damage or do you have to back away and attack from another direction?)

    as with any other attack, when you backstab the invisibility is removed

    Indeed. The only option to hide in shadows again is to sneak away so others can't see you anymore and then Hide in Shadows again and do another attack. Also a potion of invisibily will make you invisible again.
