Bad Food

What is the one thing that you have tried, and couldn't manage to have anymore? I mean anything, whether it was watered down, or not, let us know! Mine would have to be Vannila Coke my friends made into a demon: 20% Coke, 40% salt, 40% vinegar.

When I was a kid I always gagged when I had to eat that frozen spinach. It became all smushy bleeeehhh.

Nowadays I stay clear of that, besides that nothing else I guess.

 

Couple of nights ago I ate far too many peanuts. Now I can't even look at a peanut.

 

I like my ice-cream molten, several years ago i left one frozen chunk of vanilla on the sun and i came back about 2h after that (i forgot about it). It was like water but i tried it. It had the most disgusting taste i have ever felt!

Anyway, my mom once made this Oriental stew called Tom Ka Gai, and it had tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, some other veggies, and coconut milk! I didn't wnat to hurt her feelings, so I managed to down maybe two spoonfuls, then I dumped the rest when she wasn't looking.

 

I've been in hospital a few times, and the stuff I got in there was horrible ! Well, not really, the food that they gave you at meal times was good, but I had to drink Barium for a barium meal (I've had a Barium enima as well, but I'd rather not go into that) and it tasted discusting. Not only that, but before I went to the hospital I had to drink to cups of lemon laxitives which tasted horrible, and didn't leave me very happy a few hours later. You'd think that was punishment enough, but no. You see they give you the lax at about 4 oclock in the afternoon, so it kicks in at about 3 in the morning.

Wait theres more, a doctor told me to take gluten out of my diet, so I did. A half year of hell, not being able to eat bread, pasta or anything else that went into my normal diet. Then, half a year later, another doctor took a test to see if I was allergic to gluten, guess what. No!

And so, after a year of tests and terrible food. The docs have come up with nothing. They've given me anti spasmodics to try, but they don't seem to be working. I think they may have given up, because they gave me happy pills. And life has never felt as good.

Back to the point, I think I've had my fill of bad food, the only thing is, I'm not allowed good food, so I'm at a dead end. Just remember that next time you try something missing the vital ingredients, because it might be my tea

And that my friends, is how to merge a topic on bad food into one that slags off the NHS.

PS sorry for my ranting there, I get a bit carried away when a memory of hospital comes back to me

 

Non alcoholic beer.... yuck. Never again.

 

New years eve, 1999.
New millenium, Y2K, and all that crap.
I was 15. (or was it 14?)
My parents had this great idea. They brought home a special drink so we could join in the toast.
Non-alcoholic wine.
I didn't realize it was an aquired taste.
It tasted bad. (to me)
And I didn't even have the chance to get hammered.
As some British guy said in a different forum,
bollocks to that.

 

For me, it is mushy cake, you know, the kind you make for birthdays with jam inside. Makes me throw up if I eat even a spoonfull.

Well, this happened to me when I was 12, and I have already gotten over it, but...

I got sick, Very sick. As in, throwing up sick. The next day, my sister and I went shopping, and in this sports store there was this popcorn machine that had really buttery popcorn, and the whole place smelt like it... After that, it took years before I could even look at popcorn wiithout puking.

I eat anything! Doesnt matter what it looks like as long as it doesnt taste too horrible. But that almost never happens, since I like everything.
Started when I was a very young child. I ate some crystal-like thingies which I thought It whas some sort of sugar, turned out to be 'cleaning'-soda. It had something to do with the dokter.
I ate chalk as well and I drank some milk when I was young, which I thought it was yoghurt. It just turned bad,
So to me, anything is eatable. French Fries with whipped cream and lacrise (sp??), strawberry icecreams with mustard, you name it.

There was something disgusting, though.
Just one thing I tried when I was 14 (9 years ago now)
I saw some saussages in a fluid in a glass pot. I took one, quite big, and stuffed the whole thing in my mouth. Spit it out, immediately, including the stuff in my stomach. Puked all over the place.
Fluid was some kind of vinigar, but stronger. I didnt expect that.
Maybe I should try it again, with care...

I ordered chocalat-milk in a can, 1 month ago. When I opened the can, it all spurted out. Choc with bubbles can't be good, I thought. Had to try it, before I was sure it really isnt nice. Went back to the barman, he said it was just fine and that it happened regulary. I told him to watch the expiring date a bit better. So he did. Ah, he said, thats probably why I never sell this stuff twice to the same person. He was such an A$$!

I really hate hernekeitto (peasoup), which is almost finnish national food

I hate vegetable soup made by my mom.
I was once forced to eat 5 cups when i said it tastes bad.

 

I can no longer stand to even smell Krispy Kreme donuts. I ate around 2 dozen in one day, haven't been able to eat any since.

 

Maybe there is something wrong with the Finnish 'peasoup'. The Dutch (Erwtensoep/Snert) is wonderful.

 

Ara - i know what you mean about the popcorn thing. You go to the cinema, the film starts and someone walks in wiht a massive box of popcorn that either smells like someone has shat them selves or have puked on their clothes and not washed it off.

And you have to sit through a whole film smelling it.

 

Condensed milk. I drank a whole tin of it once, and it made me so incredibly, violently sick, I can't even think about it without wanting to puke...eeewwww...

Once I ate one of those buns with cream in it you know. When I took a bite it was all slimey...
Which reminds me about a icecream I ate some months ago. I was in Mallorca and wanted a icecream. So I bought one and it was not made out of water, color and strawberry-whatever is is called, it was made outta glue!
Long slimey hanging from it when it melted in the sun. yuck.
hmm...
I have also tasted catfood once. The hard pellets ones. Bleh.

Well, every time I finish a jar of pickles, I drink the vinegar that is left, It's so yummy!

Vinegar is good! The pickle vinegar, I mean. It tastes really, really good.

But on the expiring dates department? Last weekend, my mom and I noticed that we had bought some chili that had expired in January 2000...
