Which is a better, less buggy mod?

I would like to hear the pros and cons of each, please.

    TIA

This has been discussed before, try hit search. But I would go for tutu if I were you, and I recommend the easytutu installation. I'm an expert so I don't know wich is better. Some will argue tutu is better and fewer will argue the trilogy is better as far as I remember.

I installed both and I find it easier knowing that I only have to use on CD to play all through BG series.

Wow, I didn't know you could use both at the same time. What happens to the mods I currently have installed if I do this?

I forgot to mention I first started Tutu and had some minor issues around Beregost. I installed BG Triology and have no issues with the game as of yet. Of course the only other mod I have are kits.

Yes, they are known, still I haven't experienced any yet. I think if you ask Baronius he will vote for BGT and Andyr for Tutu, but stick to whats good for you.

Tutu has the known green water, and this is an issue with easy tutu as well, but you can turn off shiny/sparkly (something like that) water and it isn't an issue. I have never used the trilogy. I was also unable to get the origional tutu to work for me, but easy tutu is just that, easy. I am working my way through a easy tutu game right now for the goal of writing a review, I hope to be done with it soon. I am deep into chapter six, and have had no bugs so far.

The green water can be fixed - also using the degreenifier here

I first tried Tutu as it seemed to be easier to install. It worked fine, until Beregost... there the game would crash when I entered a few areas and corrupt the savegame I was using, then I finally gave up.

Then this last saturday I tried BGT. It seemed really fun to play the whole saga in one single game, but...

I also got the same problem in Beregost (what's wrong with that place that it screws up those mods? It can't be the mod author's fault, I don't it was the same team that made Tutu and BGT... right?). Also, this isn't really bad but maybe worth mentioning: when speaking to Kivan for the first time, his dialogue options were upside down. So if you wanted him to join, you actually had to refuse. The opposite also applies, of course.

And this is just nitpicking, but: I didn't like that your character started out in candlekeep with "free" 100 XP points. I SKed mine back to 0.

Eventually I just gave up on BGT and Tutu. Not I'm playing plain old BG1 + TotSC. It's kinda hard to get used to the slow walking speed, but after a while, feels like home.

There's a mod on this site that increase walking speed if you wear any kind of boots, and plain boots are available in most stores.

    Pretty cool!
