I've read that you can find his friend Terrece somewhere, who can kill Ployer if you pay him. Where can I find this Terrece guy?

 

Out of the goverment building in goverment district.

 

Just walk past (or you may need to step into) the building. Terence will initiate dialogue with you. I don't believe you ever actually see him.

 

I found him and paid him 2000 gold for killing Poyer, after I gave him the money, I killed him to get my money back. When I came in Poyer's house, Terrece and the wizards appeared and killed Poyer.

 

Is it true that you get extra XP for avving Terrece kill Ployer? Does it make up the difference of not getting the XP from killing Terrece, et al?

 

No you must talk to Coranil first and when you exit the building Terrance is otside.Not sure if he talks to you first.I beleve not

He doesn't talk to you first. I passed that quest, any ideas on how to kill Glacias in Nalia's quest?

 

A couple of magic missiles and a barrage of acid arrows took him down pretty quickly for me.

 

Glacias is easy...I hate the Firekraag dungeon the most

 

With Glacias,
Summon
Haste
Strength of One
Use your summons and tanks as well, tanks.
Use your spellcasters to launch your favourite offensive spells, or use Stoneskin + Mirror Image and let them tank.
Glacias will go down *realy* quickly

 

There is a trick to charm Glacias, but I never got it to work; does anyone know how?

"In the de'Arnise Hold, in the secret room where Glaicas is located, you have to charm him to "normalcy". But there's a bug with the game:
a couple of seconds after you charm him, he turns blue for about 1 second, then turns green again. So, basically, your own charm spell is interferring with the script that would lead to him talking to you."
Supposedly, he actually gives you the flail head from this.

Hehe you can forget him and kill him along with his mage stupid mescenary frends

 

I have heard for the Glacias bug too and tried 4 times but never succeed.

 

Glaicas bug was sorted out ages ago within SPfixpack downloadable here:

The best way to deal with Ployer: enter the gov. building, then leave and pause right away. Click on the green wizard as if you were going to talk to him, but then move to the side and surround him with your npcs. Talk to him and tell him to turn on Ployer. You get the experience, your money back, and whatever he was carrying. Then go to Ployer's house and talk to him. ONce the mages warp in, pause the game and attack and kill the mages. Ployer will be dead and you get all of the stuff the mages were carrying at the time.
