Just had an interesting idea for a dual, Berserker dualed at 10 or 11 (whenever a THAC0 bonus shows up) to a druid, what do you think? It'll let me wear the big armor, give some decent fighting skills, grandmastery in spears, and the rage. Plus, over multi, I don't have to wait so long for the druids good abilities? I've never played a druid much or duals for that matter, that's why I'm asking. So, what do you think?

    Arian,

beserker/cleric is my favourite combo, and I think berserker/druid has much to commend it.

One advantage of the druid over the cleric is that the early levels need much less XP, so you'll get your berserker abilities back faster.

That is evened out somewhat at later levels - 1,500,000 XP to go from lvl 14 to 15 for example. Unlike Jaheira though, you'll be pumping all the XP into a single class..... :D

Balance the character out with a blunt weapon and maybe a point into a missile weapon

(sling of seeking goes nicely with fighter STR bonuses... though there is a nice returning dart available later ....)

    Have fun :D

Instead of grand mastery in spears I'd go for staves - Staff of the Woodlands is great! Or since grand mastery isn't all that powerful (unless you're modded?), go for two points in each...

Berserker/druids are good, although you need really high stats for dual-classing (high str, wis and cha). I've tried it only once, and I used two clubs.

It's gonna be tough to roll a character wuth decent stats for a beserker/druid. You'll want at least 17str, 17dex, 16con, 6int, 17wis, 17cha - thats a 90 roll, without improving your str, dex and con which you may not want to as you can improve your stats with equipment. Don't know if low int affects any dialogs in BG2, but normally I wouldn't take it below 10 - as this is average.

You could try a ranger/cleric. This would give you a decent fighter with fairly early accces to the druid spells.

I already rolled a 93, plenty of points. Took awhile, that did. I don't wanna use a ranger/cleric just because they are overpowered and cliche. Multi's are too strong in ToB, simple as that. Also, I think I forgot to mention, this guy would be solo. What does Staff of Woodlands do? Yes, I am modded (un-nerfed GM) so GM appeals to me and Spears have nice damage, Impaler in SoA, that damage over time hold spear in ToB.
