I just read a list of the Top Ten Books of 2002 on Books & Culture and it got me thinking ...

...what would you say is the best book of 2002?

Personally, I'll have to vote for Good to Great by Jim Collins, or Jeff Shaara's The Glorious Cause: A Novel of the American Revolution

I can't rightly say I have read any of those, in fact I only read one book this year that came out this year and that was................'the thousend orcs' by (I am sure you all know (and probably hate) R.A. Salvatore :p .

Well I liked it and since it's the only book I have read that has come out this year it would be my nr. 1 :p

It is really hard to say, most of the time I dont know what decade or even century the book I am reading is written in even less what year but I will give it a try. The first book in Robin Hobb's The Tawny Man series 'Fool's Errand' is really really good. One of the best fantasy, any book I have ever read.
