    [​IMG] Just for thoughts, what do u think will be the best protaganist character class/multi/dual along with the best PCs? I am still 1/2 way through the game, but i am already thinking of how i shall like to play it the second time round. I was thinking of letting the protaganist be a Fighter/Thief/Mage and as for the PCs, will get Imoen, Jaheira, Anomen, Valygar and Keldorn. What do u guys think? Do share your own opinions and maybe reasons for your party combo.

    Heh. I'm sure there are tons of threads on this already, but here's my 2 pyreals:

    Minsc with a bow. Keldorn with a big nassssty sword. Jaheira for the fightin' and healin'. Aerie for some spell castage. Jan for the thieving abilities. And then you yourself play whatever you want. Great fun for the whole family.

    Make sure you kill Yoshi ASAP. And I mean frag him.

    [​IMG] I don't think F/M/T in a party with five NPC's is a good choice. I say play a F/M or F/T instead.

    Here are a couple of party compositions I like:

    Party #1
    PC/Protagonist
    - Human Male Sorcerer
    NPC's
    - romantic interest: Jaheira (or Viconia!)
    - Yoshimo/Imoen
    - Keldorn
    - Valygar
    - Anomen

    Party #2
    PC/Protagonist
    - Half-elf Female Cleric/Ranger
    NPC's
    - romantic interest: Anomen
    - Yoshimo/Imoen
    - Keldorn
    - Mazzy Fentan
    - Jan Jansen

    Party #3 Evil
    PC/Protagonist
    - Elf Male Fighter/Thief
    NPC's
    - romantic interest: Viconia
    - Yoshimo/Imoen
    - Edwin
    - Korgan
    Yes, only four NPC's. This party is wicked strong,! In fact I prefer to play this party without Imoen.

    Comments:
    As you can see I love having Yoshimo along (even though I think he is a weak character) and Imoen just has to be in my party unless I solo or maybe if I play an evil party.

    Viconia is my favorite romantic NPC (especially if you continue with ToB). The Jaheira romance is perhaps the best IMO, but it's been bug-ridden so I stay away from that.

    Keldorn is the best non-evil NPC in the game and unless playing a Paladin myself he is a must have.

    I like neutral, because I can have evil and good alignment charachters in the party.

    my favourite:

    PC elven archer
    Minsc-two handed sword/halberd
    Yoshimo-short bow/katana or short sword
    Jaheira-scimitar/shield
    Viconia-warhammer/quarterstaff
    Edwin-quarterstaff/dagger

    party#2:
    Sorcerer
    Minsc
    Keldorn
    Jan
    Jaheira/Anomen
    Aerie

    I've imported my previous hero from BG1
    F\M\C :19\19\19\19\21\4 with ring for charisma 18
    And Minsk\Sarevok,Keldorn,Jan\Imoen,
    Aerie(romance) and Jaheira but i'm not sure abot her.....

    My only advice is to take Valygar as a support figher or even main fighter. Good combination to take care of melee combat is Korgan on the front line to take the blows and Valygar sneaking past the battle line and backstabbing triple damage with Celestial fury :eek: :eek: And then continue slicing them to pieces.

    Another question puzzles me: How do all get 21 wisdom during BG1 :confused: I know only for 2 books existing in it

    Alright, here's a few parties that are my favorite (mostly from personalty interactions, not for powergaming) based around the class of my main char.

    #1
    PC: Paladin/Ranger/Fighter
    Minsc
    Jaheira
    Viccy
    Aerie(Romance)
    Nalia/Imoen

    Note that this party works just fine if you want to dump Jaheira when you grab Viccy. You'll get quite a bit of firepower with it.

    #2
    PC: Elven or Human Mage/Sorcerer
    Minsc
    Korgan/Valygar (depends on PC alignment)
    Jaheira/Valygar/Haer'Dalis/Aerie(if PC is elf for romance)
    Viccy (Romance if human)
    Nalia/Imoen

    #3 (This is definitely a powergamer's party)
    PC: Some sort of warrior
    Minsc
    Korgan
    Viccy
    Aerie
    Haer'Dalis/Edwin/Jan/Imoen
