That's nearly the 10000th post about the best drizzt book.
Oh well,i've read until Siege of Darkness (currently reading Passage to Dawn) and IMO the best is Homeland, followed by Sojourn or Siege of Darkness (the scenes of battle was great, if the other parts of the book was as good as the last part than IMO this would be best book).

The best Drizzt book is IMO Homeland closely followed by Sojourn. The scene where the two mages fight zombies in Passage to Dawn is cool too.

I've read every Drizzt book that exists. I would have to say Homeland, most definately.

Heh.... I disagree with you guys. I just finished the IWD Trilogy and I think Streams of Silver and the Halfling's Gem were the most spellbinding, with Homeland coming in third. :D

I'm glad to see at least that many people seem to have a great interest in RA. Salvatore's "Drizzt books". Everyone is talking about them here in the booktalk forums!

Servant of the Shard, hands down. No competetion at all. It is light years better than any other book written by Salvatore.

Couldn't agree more with Joacqin Servent of the Shard all the way which ironically enough is without Drizzt

Um, guys.... Hate to tell you this but he askes the best DRIZZT book, not the best Salvatore. SotS is, of course, the best Salvatore.

Homeland. Pants down. It has Zak, for the Hell's sake, one of my ultimate favourites... it describes the Drow society so enticingly that I wanted my own sbake whip from the beginning

(Why, Elrond, you think I have something insidious planned? )

    Sojourn, of course.
