I love comics and I love BG, so I was excited when I just found a little BG comic on the net and naturally, I wanted to share with you guys.

It has nothing to do with the BG's original story, but tells us a little adventure of BG NPCs, Ajantis, Shar-teel, Kivan, Tiax, and Eldoth.

I liked it. Especially loved the way they portrayed Shar-teel, just decided to take her to my party in my current run. She is just wicked cool!

Too bad Kivan and Tiax play minor roles...hey, but you need to read it yourselves!

    Here is the page:

Just click on the Baldurs Gate (1.8 MB!) and it will download. A program like CDisplay is highly reccomended also.

    What do you think?

Well, I followed your link and read it.
Frankly, I didn't like it. Not my cup of tea, you could say.

Eh, 'twas ok. Nothing especially impressive.

I did have a good chuckle when Kivan tries to spot some slight movement in the trees, only to find that he somehow managed not to notice an entire horde of orcs! So much for sharp elven eyesight.

I know it is not a masterpiece, especially when compared to true classic comic books, but still, it has BG characters in it and this makes it allright in my book. Why, I was so inspired from this comic and decided to take Shar-teel with me in my current game. I do not know of any other comic about BG, unfourtunately.

Say, it also had a two pages BG game advertisement, with cool picture of Sarevok, it said 'big armored guy' I guess this comic was published just before the game hit the shelves... (and changed the gaming world for good!)

Yea, I've had it for ages... I think it's on SP somewhere too, though I may have forgotten to put it up. Should do that with one of the next site updates...

Weird, I've had this in my posession for years and I'm never really sure where I got it from.

The funny thing is that it leads you to believe that there's lots of character interaction in BG1, and player-driven-quests, yadde yada, when in fact there is none. Note Tiax's dramatic flying spell-blasting action, which is pretty cool.

Though you gotta wonder, wtf is Ajantis doing travelling with Tiax, Shar-Teel, and Eldoth anyway?

Nobody said that Ajantis was the sharper paladin in the realms.
