[IMG] Thx to Slappy genious wits and Wildfire great technical support it is now possible to watch BG-the Movie part one.

I dunno what is the most fun, making it or watching it. More will come in time and hopefully better quality and layout and art.

    For now you can enjoy

Amazing is the only word to describe this. This masterpiece garnered 5 nominations for some award or other, and they are as follows:
    Best Direction - Nobleman
    Best Fiddler - Extremist
Evil person most likely to accept his award and then do something Evil - Lokken
Lifetime Achievement in the field of buckets, water and throwing award - Wildfire
    Best wits - Slappy

Cheers guys, you made me smile today. :)

/me curses the impact this film will have on my merchandising sales ;)

Good stuff and far more effort than my version. I'm intregued how you managed to get so many bitmaps into it without the final render becoming distorted. I had to take out loads of spell animation frames, spam pictures and other stuff before it would render without breaking up. Maybe your verison of Flash is newer. I'm still struggling with Version 2.0 (which was free on a magazine).

Looking forward to the sequal :)

[IMG] Guys, guys, guys!! That was gobshite! I'm sorry I don't want to insult anyone but that was 'ORRIBLE!!! :flaming:

I mean Slappy's one was funny and original. This is a pale copy of true talent. It was also slow, sad and uninteresting. Borelicious!!!:sleep:

Yoda :1eye: doesn't want to drink with you anymore.

I can't wait for the sequel!!!!

[IMG] don't want to be on anyone's hit-list, but i also preferred slappy's film.

i expect a lot of us newbies will feel the same- there was more for us to relate to (and therefore laugh at).

[IMG] Then maybe this movie isn't for you.

    Now move along. Move along.

[IMG] It is actually VERY VERY slow unless you download it and it is obvious that this is just me messing around with a new program. So I actually agree more with CL than you think. No big deal. Just experimenting. heh.

I converted the bitmaps to jpeg Slappy. bitmaps are huge.
And I use the trial version of "Macromedia flash 5.0" from http://www.tucows.com

Anyway as I said I don't know if it was the most fun making it or watching. One thing is for sure. I am gonna get a faster computer and better software cause computer animation is fun work.

And think about it; If you watched LoTR in the movies and the images where way behind the sound. Some scenes entirely skipped because of the movie screen freezing in a chaotic pattern. The screen size removes some of the movie. The sounds were scrathy and unclear and mixing with each other. lol. HORRIBLE. I am getting new tools.

Heheh, this one's pretty cool too. But I must admit I laughed much harder when I saw Slappy's version. ;)

Must say that it is quite good.

It reminds me when I used Kid's Pix to make a moving slide show. I did a big ass bunny blowing fire balls at the town. I was something that I wish I had to show you guys. I wonder if I can get that on the web somewhere?

On topic, I'm waiting for the next movie. Hurry up I'm waiting.
