    Hi,

I'm playing through BG1 again with the BG1tutu mod etc. It appears that all "hold" effects are permament. I didn't verify it with the hold spell (though the evil cleric in the nashkel inn's hold spell lasted for a long time before my party died) but characters held by the hold effect of ghouls and carrion crawler attacks are held forever. Waiting a long time and resting don't affect it. I haven't tried a spell of un-hold or whatever negates it because I'm too low level. Is this a known bug? Another thing I noticed was that my PC didn't run away during the Gorion's death cutscene.

I followed all the instructions in the readme for BG1tutu release 4 I think, and installed BG1tutu fixpack release 15 (or whichever the newest one is) at the appropriate time, as well as the baldurdash fixpacks for BG1 TOTSC and BG2 TOB as instructed by the tutu fixpack readme.

edit: I'm working around it by using a console heal cheat, but now I feel like a cheater :(

I had that problem once, but only once... it was a bit of a pain to load to the last save, but everytime my characters get held, besides that one random time (by a ghast), it isn't permanent

It is a known issue, and isn't all hold effects--just the paralytic touches you mentioned.

I thought it had been fixed, but perhaps that's just in the beta of Tutu 6.

I'm not sure what changed, but now the effects seem to be wearing off. I didn't even close BG - just used the cheats and later noticed that they didn't wear off.

So is there a reason you don't run off in the cutscene? Also, my dudes (e.g. Edwin) keep saying "Your reputation is too good, so I'm leaving" but not actually leaving. And later, he does in fact leave, but doesn't give me a dialogue choice and just starts with the dialogue that happens when you cut a team member ("oh you don't want me? OK BYE!!!") after his "your reputation is too good" speech.
