    [IMG] Hey

Ive been looking all over the place for something that could help change the chants.. but cant find anything.

I much prefer the spell chants in baldurs gate 1 - when you cast a spell they say things that sound a lot more fitting... And i was wondering how i can change the baldurs gate 2 spell chants back to baldurs gate 1 chants because i like them more. Is there anyone out there who knows of any mods that may help?

    Ok thanks ppl

Aaagh is there a difference in 'spell chants' between BG1 and BG2? I thought they were all the same. If not, which is better and cooler?

I really love that spell chants, and even made a topic for them, and yet nobody told me that they were very different in BG1?

I think the ones in BG2 are the same with IWD, and IWD2. Or I am deaf.

    Help?

I love the spell chants too. From both games. I want to find a way to extract the sound files from the game...

WinBiff, Infinity Explorer, or Near Infinity should all be able to do that. Can't find WinBiff's webpage, but Near Infinity is a fantastic program, can also act as a save game editor.

Razfallow, ur link really helped.. Thanks for that. Yes the bg1 spell chants are in my opinion, infinitely better than the bg2 chants.

For anyone following the link, its in the blue mod box top right- should say casting sounds v4. All you need to do is install the file downloaded, then go to ur bg2 directory and run setup-tutusounds and choose the options u wanna install.

Thanks for the replies ppl and hope that my question helped others out

Oh and from what i remember, IWD2 has different and equally cool spell chants. The spell effects are better in IWD 2 and there are mods that can replace the bg2 effects with those of IWD2 - they can be found in the gw tweak pack here

    OK Cheers :)
