BG2 ultimate collection - patches needed?

    I purchased the BG2 ultimate collection, you know, SoA and ToB all together. Are any of the patches required to be installed? I figured that if they released everything together that all patches would already be incorporated into them...

    I have this and I installed the ToB patch. I wasn't sure if it needed it, but it didn't hurt either.

    You can easily check yourself to see if the game you have purchased is already patched or not. Below is the readme of the TOB official patch. Install your game and run it. Check one or two entries of the readme in your game. If they are applied, then your game is patched and you don't need to install the patch again.

    It does need to be patched; on the upside the patch is supposed to be included in the CDs.

    CamDawg is right. The patch is located on the TOB CD in the folder called "BG2 TOB Patch."
