    When I played through SoA the first time, I expected it to be alot like BGI. Boy was I suprised. There were lots of things that suprised me, and I was just wondering what the biggest suprise, whether role playing or enemy, ect., you ever experianced in BGIIn and add-on.

    Mine was when, on the first time through, before any walkthroughs, message boards ect., having started a romance with Aerie, she told me that she was pregnant. This nearly made me fall off of my chair.

    Irenicus. I had expected something as old as Sarevok. Refreshing, for a time I really hated him for taking Imoen, and that is a sign of very good game. :cool:

    [​IMG] After reading somewhere the dragons were pathetic and having a hasted character run straight into old Shadow Dragon, which was facing South at the time. So as soon as the whole base appeared in visual range of my character I saw a bloody great lizard staring at me. looks impressive against a little old halfling. :love:

    The atmosphere of the city... unbelievably awesome.

    I actually finished BG II before finishing the first BG, so after I finished ToB, I went right back and finished it up. As awesome as it is, 'twas hard to play right after BG II... heh...

    Importing my character and finding out that my thieving skills totally sucked under the BG2 system. I was suddenly only about half the thief I had been in BG1.

    Adalon. After her nothing surpised me.

    Oh yeah, and the Baalor in the Underdark.

    One thing that surpirised me was how wussy the bosses were in ToB. I beat many of them with no buffs, not even haste.
