    just wondering can you stop the traps in cloakwood using a thief or are they unavoidable?

    Those are the web traps right? If so, then yes, a thief can disarm them.

    Just quicksave often, and reload when you find the traps. It's really annoying to wait for the web to disappear.

    When you don't have an able thief (like Imoen or Coran) you still can use the infanmeous SPIDERBANE for good effect ... unfortunately you have to go through the forrest before you get it ;)

    Hey, you could still use it to great effect in the Thayvian Wizard map, which has the same types of traps all over.

    Cool, thanks. I didn't have a thief at the time as i was using two Elven fighters but, i've re-started and i'm gonna use NPCs, so i will have Imoen this time.
