    I was just wondering if anybody knows where I can find the sound for the Black Isle logo part when iwd is starting up... cuz i thought it would make a pretty rad pc startup sound

    Those intros are bink movies... Look around on the CDs for the files. Though I don't know if they're openly accessible like with NWN.

    I don't remember which game it was, (IWD I or II or the Bg games) but I somehow found them and played them on my windows media player. I beleive they are in the game directory if you do a full install on your pc.

    Yeah.

    You can extract them, and play them at your leisure.

    I don't know all the ends and outs of it, but it is completely possible to "capture" the movie while it's playing with Premiere or Pinnacle Studio. And convert it to MPEG4, or whatever you want.
