Black Raven question

    [​IMG] This is my first time through so I'm in normal mode.

    I met the duergar and did their quests. They have asked me to slaughter the monks. I then went to the monastery and did the monk's quests. I was able to beat the four iron golems (really tough) and now I'm not sure what to do. I opened the door to the underdark and ended up with duergar at both sides of me, so I know I can't trust them as they slaughtered my spellcasters.

    I'm thinking about going back into the monastery and slaying everyone. Then going back to the duergar and getting what I assume is xp from them. Then I'm planning on slaughtering them. I'm assuming when I do that the only duegar left will be the ones behind the door to the underdark.

    Has anyone done this, I'm concerned about screwing something up later on?

    Though it wasn't the moral thing to do(and who said games were supposed to be moral) I've done the monk's challenges, killed them, went back to the druegar and collected my reward, and then got into an argument with one of them about slavery and killed those guys without any problems later in the game. So don't worry about any problems cropping up later because of that.(BTW I have finished the game with that save)

    Sure it wasn't in the spirit of roleplay but it sure does net you a lot of experience.

    [​IMG] Thanks for the reply. I decided to do kill them all.

    It was actually quite fun, I had my sorcerers stoneskin and mirror image. Then carefully placed them and cast sunfire as quickly as possible. Then the rest of the troops showed up for mop-up duty.

    On to the underdark....
