Hey I was just wonder if any one has ever gone a blind date before and if you have how did it turn out. I was asking because I have a blind date Monday.

 

I did once, just go into it with a positive attitude and it will be ok Who knows you might find your soul mate or they might take your soul

 

Thats not funny you are scaring me. No but how long did you go out with her after that if you even did.

 

don't be scared of blind dates! at least they won't be able to see how ugly you are. (that one should have been in CL's topic)

yeah, i did once, in a round-about kind of way. be warned: if a friend invites you somewhere out of the blue and 'bumps into' someone they know, introduces you to them and then buggers off for a while (a long while... maybe doesn't even come back), it's a definite set-up, and simultaneously a blind-date.

went out with her for a few weeks. nice girl, but far too clingy for someone who was about to leave for university.

I used to go on blind dates all the time! Dating was my main hobby before I got married. Heh. Anyway, they were all a lot of fun except one: the 'nice young doctor' turned out to be a forensic pathologist who LOVED his job, and he spent the entire meal talking about an autopsy he'd just performed. He demonstrated techniques using his cutlery and occasionally the tablecloth. I have never eaten less in my life. But don't worry, young rabbit! Your date will probably be fine!

 

About a week Psycho, she broke up with me because I was trying to be the nice guy and she wanted aggressive! I really screwed that chance up

Hey everyone I went on my date last night. Well............ let's just put this way I'm not intrested.
1 She wasn't that cute
2 Way to hyper
3 Ditsy
4 Talked about her last boyfriend way to much
5 She thought she was the funniest person in the world which she was funny but to sit there and say "god I'm funny" every 2 minutes gets a little annoying
6 She looked down on her looks to much

So I wouldn't go out with her again but her friend wasn't that bad she even seemed more interested.

[deity edity for wolfy]: "ditzy" basically means air-headed, but in a smiley-happy way. it's sometimes cute, but not often! (its very attractive if you prefer the type of girl who is unconscious).

Yes indeed, this seems to have been interesting. Why was the friend there again? Anyway, as the deity said keep up the good work.

PS What does ditsy mean? (although it is onomatopoeic enough to make a reasonable guess).

 

The main reason it took me so long to post is because I got back at midnight so I just waited till the morning. By the way you let me know when you find a girl that makes acting ditsy atractive I think it makes them look dumb and nervous.

I've gone on a few, but they seem to never work out. But my parents met on a blind date and they're still married. So maybe it does work.. I don't know.

For some reason people like to set me up. It must be the impressiveness of my tushie.

The problem is that girls have no idea which of their friends are cute. None. Zero. They know who's "nice," but they tend to think all of their friends are cute except the ones that are overweight. I've never been set up with an overweight girl for some reason, but I have seen plenty of people who were just attractive enough to be called "not ugly."
