    [​IMG] Yes, they've been down unfortunately. CGI all over the site was in bits and pieces. Hopefully it's been fixed now, but I'll have to confirm with eU on Monday.

    They suck, whoever they are.

    Force banner advertisements of products that have no relation to the sites content, CGI problems. Not worth it in my books. Go solo and get out of the shit house before it gets worse. ;)

    *Sigh*.
    If only it were so simple as to move. If it was just the site, I'd be gone a long time ago.
    But once the boards grow to the proportions here (more than 10k posts), you can't move that.
    If you go to another server, you have to start anew. So we'd lose everything that ever was on this board and start from scratch.
    I'd REALLY hate to see that happen. :(

    All you should have to do is download the entire CGI/UBB directory and upload them to the new site, set the CHMOD on all the files and forum directories, smile and be happy. I can't see why this wouldn't work.

    [​IMG] Uh huh, and re-set the attributes for all files and executables and all .pls and other scripts and modify the main page and a dozen other stuff I don't even want to think about.
    I had to rebuiled them once on a server when it crashed and only 1/4 of it was affected, and that was months ago when it was still very small. It took 15 hours of manual resetting.

    Try it once and you'll see what I'm talking about. You can thank your lucky stars if you're on a server that'll never crash on you like it did on me.
