Bodhi problem

I just got back form the Underdark, got the elves quest, talked to Drizzt, no problem.. but when I enter the crypt, noone's there. No Drizzt. No Bodhi. Do you have to do something to make her appear there, ie some other quest that will lead you to that? Is this a known bug?

 

This happened to me once i installed ToB. Not sure if it's the same with you.

 

nope, don't have ToB.

 

Someone had a simialr problem a few days ago. So it seems it is a common 'bug'. There's not much there but you could have a look to see if anything helps:

allright, I've been trying all sorts of things, and there's no solution in-game. Sooo, I suppose I'll have to cheat. I'm wondering, this lamp thing, once I get that from bodhi, do I just walk over to the elves and give it to them? Coz then I could just cheat that lamp into my inventory, and finish the quest that way, no?

And yes you can just cheat in the rhynn lanthorn and give it to the elves.

thank you. Now as for the triple posting that's related to a server problem (you click the button, nothing happens, after 5 mins you click it again), so it was not on purpose... what is wrong with people's attitude on this forum anyway? always seems hostile.

Back to the topic, sorry you haven't found a way around the bug. You could try creating the item instead but that might mean a few important in game triggers get missed. However, if you have no other choice then there is nothing to lose.

Anyway, in case you don't know, the code for the Rhynn Lanthorn is - C6LANTHO

You can creat it using the console. details for doing this can be found here:

Scroll down to the creat item instructions. Good luck.

 

thanks a lot.. I was searching for that post yesterday.. no luck. However, the Rhynn Lanthorn isn't in that Items list... odd indeed. I suppose there should be a more complete list somewhere?

as for the triple posting, the double post was simply coz I was changing the subject for this post somewhat, from what is ths problem, to can I just create this item. So, I think it was in order to move the post back to top, since it essentially had changed, and people might have something to add to this. I could have posted a new topic instead I suppose, but then someone would've complained about that instead, right? And for the second post, yes, server problem. You don't have to believe me if you don't wan to, obviously you don't, but I clicked "submit reply", nothing happens, after a while I click again. Still nothing. So I leave, and it wasn't until later that I got back here and saw that the post had indeed shown up. It was not on purpose.

Also, I must apologize for in any way disagreeing with the moderators. I didn't know they were übermenschen, who just can not be wrong.

Idoru, ah ha the Rhynn Lanthorn is indeed not in the list (it's mainly designed for cheaters who want to get their hands on powerful equipment ) but at great personal cost to myself (well I was bored anyway ), I have been through Infinity Explorer to track down the code on your behalf. The code is - C6LANTHO (which is what I posted above to save you the trouble of searching through the list in the guide.......

Anyway once you've got the console up just enter:

CLUAConsole:CreateItem("C6LANTHO",1)

That should give you the Lanthorn. be careful of the syntax upper and lower case etc when typing. Good lick again.
