    Someone recently said on another board that the Bolt of Glory ignores magic resistance. Is this true? IIRC, I've had the bolt resisted on some occasions. One of you highly skilled hackers might be able to tell me .

    I'm no highly skilled hacker, but I do know that there is no saving throw against the spell. I can't recall ever having something resist the spell. Course by the time my mages are finished lowering particularly nasty foes' MR, it becomes moot.

    [​IMG] I only asked because it doesn't mention the fact that it bypasses MR in the spell description in the handbook, and for other spells that do (like Breach) it usually does mention that little tidbit.

    Well, it's primary use is for doing hefty damage to Demons, and since most of them have 50%+ MR it would be kinda useless if it didn't ignore it.

    I'd say that ignore's MR as it is a divine manisfestation of godly power, so no mortal ability (the magic resistance) could stop it.

    It a limited spell anyway, you soon find better means...
