    [​IMG] Most likely because it's not really much trouble to register. You need to enter 3 or 4 fields and that's it. Takes two minutes. I don't expect many people actually read the required Rules/FAQ when they register.

    Maybe I should make a habit of posting on every single thread!!! BWAHAHAHAA! A little more effort on my behalf and there'll be no escape! :evil:

    Seems a lot of people could ...erm...'unregister' (what is the word? Write off??) since there are a lot of them who didnt post anything a quite some time....
    That would make about 1000 people here in stead of 2900-and-somewhat...

    I haven't seen it yet as it won't let me look at the details unitl I am logged on. ..... and the only way I know (can find) to log on is to post a message. Is there a way to log on without posting (for existing members I mean). It might also be nice in that people could see you lurking in the 'Boo spies' bit even though you can't find anyhing to post about. Just a thought.

    And now off to look at the database :)

    Ah, yes Slappy I noticed that myself and tried some different ways to log on without posting. The only way I found was to click on "profile" (the one on top of the page) and sign on to change your profile.

    Making a normal loggin thing for entering the boards would require some major cgi-coding I suppose. I've seen some badass cgi source code, and it doesn't look funny :p.

    When I click on SP url I am automaticly logged on. No posting no nothing. Once I was a guest#x untill I posted but those days are over. No more lurking on the Noble's account ;)

    You can always reset the cookies necessary for all these extra features by clicking on the "profile" link in top right corner of most pages of the boards and enabling the "Store Username & Password in browser memory for 1 year".
