What should I upgrade with the Bowstring of Gond? I have the Darkfire Bow, Firetooth Xbow, and Tarlash, so I was wondering what weapon is better after the upgrade.

 

I dunno.
When I played my party with an archer I considered those choices... and I ended up hanging to my Heartseeker. Maybe there's something I'm missing here, but I don't really like any of those three.

 

I like Firetooth the most because it shoots +2 fire arrows if I'm not mistaking but then again the choice is your's. If you don't use it i recommend that you find out which is the most valuable and sell it.

 

Sell it?!?!? Why would I do something dumb like that? Those are the three most powerful bows/xbows in the game...

Precisely my point: I don't think they are that.
Heartseeker with its +4/+2 seems more powerful to me than either of those three.

 

If you really can't decide which to make then I suggest that you create your own ranged weapon with IEEP and if you don't know how just download one from the net. Or if you wish I can create one for you just give me your e-mail and you'll have it within a day .

Firetooth crossbow :

The magical bowstring of Gond makes even the Firetooth Crossbow's enchanted missiles more accurate and more powerful. Firetooth will only fire these enchanted missiles, so there is no need for ammunition.

Hope this helps, personally I don't think the movement rate is that much of a bonus. 5% bonus to those resistances is also not very much. Fire bolts are pretty sweet though, especially considering the ammount of fire bolts in the game.

 

Kenneth: I can edit my own I tems quite well, so if I 'wanted' to make my own bow (which I have) I wouldn't have posted this topic. I'm going for the best 'in game' items here...

 

Its Keneth not Kenneth and I was just trying to say that all of these three s*** so it doesn't matter which one you make .

 

I see...my dad's name is Kenneth, so I just figured...sorry. The bow that I made awhile ago was so overpowered: It hit as a +5 weapon, it shot 3 arrows at the same time: 1D4+5 fire, 1D4+5 cold, and 1D4+5 acid; hasted the user while equiped, and cast 4 different spells on anyone attacking the weilder. It was so overpowered that I deleted it a week after I made it.

 

There's no need for apologizing we all make mistakes. I hope you made the right choice though I still think that Heatseeker is better than those three .

(And that bow isn't overpowered its godlike but then again you are half-god ).
