    OK ... this might be a stupid question ... but do these things work if you use a short bow? Because it says "missile weapons only" but bows aren't classified as missile weapons, you need the bow proficiency. As opposed to a sling which you need the missile weapon proficiency.

    The fastest way of checking that is equipping a bow, checking the THAC0 without the braces, eqipping the braces and checking THAC0 again. If the score is different - then it works. It should work, they are braces of ARCHERY after all.

    lmao ... I thought it might be a stupid question, but the wording sometimes confuses me. It does lower the THAC0 from 15 to 13, so I guess it does work. Although I've found an odd bug, that the bracers disappear when you remove then and then reappear when you put them into your inventory. *shrugz*
