If I may, I'd like to post a slice of a work I've been developing in my mind for over a year. The story itself I have not committed down to writing till last week, though. Some things are like that for me. Plus, I was sixteen or so when I first formulated it, and I had very little confidence in my skills. But, anyway, the reason I ask permission is because the prologue in and of itself is bloody long. I mainly need some opinions on what I post, to see if what I'm writing is, at all, interesting. I think I'm writing it correctly--that's not the problem. Keep in mind, though, this is the prologue, after all. It's a small introduction and a small glimpse--nothing more, nothing less. The real story IS literally novel-length in its arc, but the payoff is huge. The story covers many years and lives, as well as two distinctly different worlds.

Yes - do post them. Just make sure they have spaces between paragraphs. ;)
