Bugged game broken dialog, Advice?

    I have been playing online with a friend, and while I have several mods, she on the other hand has none. So she hosted the game, which makes it so as if there are no mods, which seems to be the case and worked fine, we had lots of situations occur that I know in my game would trigger mod content, but with her hosting this did not happen.

    However when we got to the De Arnise Hold (after being in the docks) it always crashes after a dialog of Minsc's triggers where he talks about there being lots of holes for Boo too play in or something, it's been a while but I think the second string of dialog is wherein Minsc realises boo is no longer with him.

    And this is weirding me out, as up until this point, mod content hasn't appeared. not a single thing from any mod I have installed. Not even unlimited stacking of items from EOU or the random spawns in cities from tactics (i think it's tactics). Seems strange that all of a sudden some mod content should appear now.

    If it is not mod content, the game is bugging because of something, every time the dialog triggers the game crashes.
