Business idea?

Does anyone have any suggestions for a business idea for a company? I'm mainly interested in selling products, mostly to other students but if you can come up with anything that companies would buy, that would be good too. The idea should not be too complicated, and should be pretty cheap to buy, something that yourself might be interested in buying.

Well, this is a school project, so I'm mainly looking for something to sell to other students.

@DS: Well, it better be damned good then. From what I understand, you have quite a lot of money as it is, so maybe you would be willing to invest too?

 

Have you heard about the company nobel biocare? Make something that allready exists just make it cheaper and they will buy your pruducs, no questions asked.

I got some ideas about a road bicycling wheel too but I guess that your not intrested about that

You can always create and sell software. But you have to do something that doesn't exist. But whatever you sell, internet is useful

 

Mobile coffee bar. Students want coffee but they're too lazy to go and get it.

I like HB's idea but you need to add energy drinks to it also. New Zealand students seem to live on Red Bull and Starbucks and they go home to their shack built out of Red Bull cans and their furnitue made out of old Starbucks paper cups...

 

Two words: Beer supplier!
Frat parties always run out of beer. And once the keg runs dry, half the people at the party are too drunk to go get more, and the other half don't want to. That's where you come in. By driving around in a small refrigerated box truck with several kegs of various beers at all times, all it takes is a quick call, and the party won't have to end.

And then you stick it to them with a late return fee, a damage fee, rush delivery fee, a fee if *you* have to come get the keg, and a distance fee if the drive is more than a set amount of miles.

 

Good thinking, Kitrax, those drunks will pay a huge premium for you to come along and top up their supplies.

Although how often do those parties really run out of beer?

 

The good ones usually don't if they're well planned, but if another party gets crashed (possibly from lack of beer), a well planned party could turn in to a massive rave, and even its well stocked beer stash could run dry.

That's exactly what happened at this party I went to a few months ago. There was a keg of Bud, Bud Lite, and Coors Lite...and the party was going just fine, but about 2 hours into it, car load after car load of people started showing up from a different party that got shut down by the cops for being too loud. Within an hour after they all showed up, all 3 kegs were empty.

That was a fun party...but a little too crowded for my liking.

I'd sell the pets to pharma firms as testing animals. You got to work more for your money, but you don't expose yourself too much.

Do you think it would be hard for a programmer to make a program that automatically sends text messages (SMS) to (several) cellphones, with information that you put into the program?
