Yeah, was a good game that. Lampard and Terry the main guys again, but the Europeans on here still don't recognize English greatness when they see it.

Beat Man Utd's game, that bored me to fcking tears.

It was a Chelsea player who won that game for Milan!

True. I wouldn't put it past Milan winning the CL though to be fair. They look solid.

Yes that was a very brave show of the english, waiting on their own half until the chance on a counter. Personally I hate that kind of football and it certainly is anti english football, Chelcea is absolutely not playing the game which makes your countries matches so great to watch. Might as well be a secondary italian club.

I'd say you were lucky Barca didn't gain their normal level. I hope you play AC milan next, let's see what the newbies do against the masters of counter football.

EDIT: Oh almost forgot, that fourth goal was most definatly a foul against the keeper.

Great game , even the missus got into the game. Chelsea and Mourinho seem to have an air of invincibility about them at the moment.
I can't say I like that arrogant b*****d but it is good for English football - Joe cole and Lampard were superb last night.

A post match incident is alleged to be about some racist remark being made to a Eto'o from a Chelsea steward (Seems unlikely to me). If this goes any further I wonder if Chelsea (being an English club) will receive the same lenient treatment as Luis Aragones and the Spanish FA did by EUFA. It just frustrates me that English clubs always tend to get hammered by EUFA or FIFA given the slightest oppurtunity.

Apeman was pretty spot on to be fair. The 4th goal was definitely a foul on the keeper, Carvalho was holding him.

I don't think Chelsea play like an Italian team though. 4 goals in the game and they play defensive? Chelsea are a very good side and have a knack of winning games, especially when it comes to the crunch. It's Mourinho rubbing off on them. Mourinho is a right lad, I think he's great I do.

Personally, I think Chelsea deserved to go through before Barca did. Barca dive too much. Deco, Ronny etc., they dive so much.
Ronny's 2nd goal was magical though. Genius.

I live in Barcelona (yeah, I'm still here with my spanish girfriend) and I'm not a Barca fan, I am a River Plate fan (argentinian team) and here, all newspapers just said that the fourth goal wasn't a legal one, yeah, I saw it and it was foul but I think the Barca didn't lost the game just for that but for let Chelsea make 3 goals in 10 minutes and for not change their "slippering" (sp?) shoes.
    By the way...
    Ciao ciao Real Madrid...

Chelsea is English greatness ??? How many English players are on the team anyway eh ? Take out the foreigners, the coachingstaff, and last but not least, the Russian mobmoney, and Chelsea would be right back at where they were a few years ago...a very moderate, boring to watch, footballteam.

And i have to add to this, of all English teams that participated in UEFA leagues this year, Chelsea is, despite all their potential, the most annoying team to watch, almost Italianlike counterfootball. With all the firepower on their roster, they didn't even have the balls to seek the offensive against Barcelona, who were, over both matchups, clearly the better team. Unfortunately teams with a cowardly attitude usually get much more than they deserve. Picture a CL finals between Chelski and Inter Milan....it would probably be a reason to cheer if one of the two teams decides to cross midfield out of their own initiative.

Not to mention that arrogant piece of crap coach they have on the bench. I hope that whoever faces Chelsea in the next round, gives them the whooping they deserve.

Ooh matron. That's a bit strong there Pac man.

I just mentioned that English greatness thing as a joke, because Chelsea hardly have any English players at all. Well, I suppose Lampard and Terry. Take them out of the Chelsea side and their effectiveness falls 50%...

Who says i wasn't pulling any legs either ? ;)

But it's no secret that i don't have much sympathy for Chelsea, isn't it ? As a lifelong West Ham fan that's only natural though. :D

Bull****. I think that Chelsea could replace them and not loose too much, maybe even gain on it.

Chelsea have always been a good side and are a very exciting team to watch, few would disagree. What is wrong with Mourinho? He is a fabulous manager with a great record.

Chelsea are not lost without Lampard and Terry, they have been without them before and played fantastic.

    Pray tell when?

Mr. Lampard and Mr. Terry have been the only two ever-presents in the Chelsea side this year. The only times they dared rest them, was for League Cup games and stuff. Might be wrong though.
