Sorry to disappoint those expecting something else, but did anyone hear the news about the highschool principle in California that forbade thongs at the prom? And of course, to make sure, he lifted all the girls dresses at the dance to check!!?!? Unbelievable. This guy is so screwed and so is whatever school district it is. What would make someone think that this would be a good idea? (Rhetorical).

Ah, I heard it was a dude, but its still horrible. I think I would have followed the letter of the law and not worn anything at all!

And the local police officer, that is always on duty/guard at every prom, had no problem with the procedure.

Normally, I'd just recommend drug tests on the vast majority of adults present. In this case, I'd also recommend a public beating/lashing with a cane pole like they did that 17-year-old in Manila back in the early 90's.

 

I believe ejsmith is right, it was a woman not a guy, checking the girls in public (in front of other students!)

What gets me is the girls let her do it. No one bothered to say, "Um, no you can't do that." Geez.

 

A pathetic attempt at trying to control a school. What I wonder is if these people ever thing what other will think about them when they hear this story. Right now that women will never get a new job.

Almost as bad as the school canceling a production of Romeo & Juliet from being shown(live play by studnets), after the school gave approval for all the english classes to watch the movie. Not to mention that the year before they went to the theather and saw the play

If any school official tried that on me (I am male btw) they would be avoiding the heel of my boot. I would consider it self defense against a rape attack and would use what ever methods available to me to defend myself. If that means kicking, punching, clawing, biting, etc, then so be it.

 

That nasty stuff. The vice principal is being such a ***** about this, because checking what kind of underwear girls wear is just ridiculous. Women should have the rights to wear the kind of underwear they wear.

 

I would have said to my date, "Lets go to some where else." then yell out to every one else, "Any one who still wants to dance bring their cd's and themselves to my house! It's doesnt matter what you wear there!" I wouldnt have even gone in.

Why did they all put up with it?! I'm suprised their wasnt a mass reblien!

 

Who cares what sort of underware people ware. This is ridiculous. They all should have left the party to go somewhere else. If girls want to ware a thong that is their own choice (although I can't imagine a thong is comfortable, but still). It isn't like they are showing them in public.

 

A woman like that obviously has either had a seriously bad childhood or mental problems.

Either way, she should be getting help, because taking in the way she acted, something's got to be wrong.

Reminds me of my grandmother on drugs.

I remember hearing a story about something similar several years ago, that happened here in Ontario, Canada. Some guy thought that someone stole $90 from him in the lockerroom, so his teacher and the vice-principal proceeded to strip-search every guy in the class. The worst part is that the $90 hadn't been stolen, the kid had miss-placed it...in his LOCKER!

 

That's sick, stupid, and downright degrading! If something like that were to happen to me, I'd do like Bateluer.

OMGooodness! Heheeeee! That is absolutely outrageous. I have never heard of such a thing. Quite unbeleivable!

I think there is more to this story than what is being told.

If they want to ban thongs, they should throw every woman in jail for one night who thinks it is a good idea to wear her thong showing outside of her pants and half way up her back. At least in those situations it would be a visible "pollution."

Ohh OHH! Or those who think it is a great idea to wear like a black thong underneath a pair of cream pants so that you can see everything.

And we are not talking models here guys, were talking normal so so looking to quite not so good looking women and even teenagers at times.
