Can a fighter/mage cast level 7 and 8 spells?

    When you are a multi-classed Fighter/Mage you will not be able to cast seventh or eight level spells. But if you're dual-classed at say level 12 you will be able to cast 1 level 7 spell. If you dual at level 9 you will be able to reach mage level 17 which gives you 3 level 7 and 2 level 8 spells.

    [​IMG] A multiclassed fighter-mage can't cast the spell from his memory, that's right and I can only fully agree to Vanyril. But I can't see any obstacle in casting it right from the scroll with the desired effect ;)

    1.he can not cast level 7 spells
    2.he can not wear armor
    3.he casts dumb spells

    Sorry, but a word moron comes to my mind.
    First, he posts 5 topics on how his F/M owns and how generalllly cool it is.
    Then he posts countless topics that all monsters are tough because
    1. They are tough
    2. They are hard to kill
    3. They are too powerful
    Then he suddenly realizes that F/M cannot cast lvl9 spells, and he can only cast dumb spells (BTW, what kind of dumb spells he casts depends only on YOU, dragon903) and cannot wear armor, though he certainly can.

    i tryed again as a fighter/mage and he beated up this lich in one blow.

    i usually use the fighter/mage combo myself. I like to use the bow and arrow, while i am casting my spells. Very effective :D

    Dragon I like your topics - They're so deadly funny! :D

    Why not try a fighter DC to mage at level 7.

    He would be at level 7/8 when you exit the Irenicus dungeon.

    Your character could cast even level 8 spells if you followed my instructions correctly. Make sure you create your fighter with 18 int.!
