Can a party survive without a single-classed Cleric?

    Idea:

    1)Protagonist: Gnome, either Fighter/Mage or Fighter/Thief

2)Aerie: Mage/Cleric (romance, really fast cure spells with Robe of Vecna)

    3)Jaheira: Fighter/Druid

4)Mazzy: Fighter (archery, backup tank, I'll give her proficiencies in Halberd)

5)Imoen: Mage (possibly covering thief abilities, I haven't decided on the protagonists multi-class yet)

    6)Keldorn: Paladin (he's my tank!)

Of course you can, I would never usually use a cleric or a mage and surviving is not a problem !

I´ve never in my life played with a pure cleric. So yeah, you´ll get around fine.

My only suggestion is make sure you always have a lot of extra healing potions for your tanks and normal healing potions for your lower hp characters so that you don't run out :p . And remember that the heal spell is better than 4 cure criticals on your Keldorn :D

Between Aerie and Jaheira, you'll have plenty of healing outside of combat. During combat, I usually rely on potions anyways, with the odd Heal and Mass Cure spell when desperate.

If you are worried about turning undead, Aerie can deal with the easy targets just fine. Keep Daystar in your inventory and use its Sunray ability to deal with the tougher ones.

You can get 2 Rings of Regeneration and a Ring of Gaxx (a second if you like cheese) in the game as well as several tons of healing potions. No, you don't need a cleric.

I've done it with Jaheira and Aerie. Actually, that was one of the strongest parties that I've ever played.

It's doable, but you might have to rest a bit or spend money on potions.

Or your can ensure that you have 2 Rings of regeneration on you ;)
There is no need to go for either Viconia or Anomen unless you know you can fit them into your plans.
