    I believe the game is designed for at least 3 characters, so you should be okay.

    Each of your characters will have a larger share of XP than a party of 6 for example.

    Although, since level 10 is max you might aswell create a full party of 5. First game I started I played with only a fighter since I thought he´d get very powerful. After alittle while he reached 54999 xp, and could gain no more... Which atleast I think is boring.
