For an animation project for school one of the voices from Icewind dale (male fighter 5) would be perfect for my uses. Only I can't play this file in anything outside of the game. Is there a way to convert the files so that other programs can use them?

Yea, you just need a wavc to wav converter. I think TeamBG had it before it went down, but I don't know where it can be found now. But I'm sure some mod makers will know and reply here...

[IMG] No, that's not it. Acm2wav is on SP, but the only thing in acm format is the game's music, not any of the other sound files.

you can anyways play the sounds from that program, i think you could convert it to normal wav files as well (as in playable from normal player.) but i cant verify that right now.

tested, you can use NearInfinity to listen to the sounds and export and convert them to normal wav format, i was at least able to listen to .wav files in normal media player.

I do believe I've got wavc.exe saved back, somewhere. I guess lemme go check.

    I've got..

    ACM-WAVC.exe
    WAVC.exe
    ACM2WAV.exe

I can throw them up somewhere this weekend, if you're still looking. Sorry I didn't get to this thread sooner. I've got DVD's full of all kinds of nick-nacks. I can't wait for Blu-Ray...

Send the lot to me and I'll put it up besides acm2wav if no other site has it. I've probably got it backed up somewhere, but I'm too lazy to go digging around my backups...
