Can't get to Umar Hills!

    I don't know if I said no to the child, Delon early in the game but now I am desperate to get to Umar Hills and I can't find him.

    The Tanners Quest leads to Umar Hills , so does the hunt for Valygar. As a result of talking to his servant, Umar Hills is inscribed on my map but it is blanked out.

    If it inscribed you can travel to it.
    The problem is you need to be at one of the closest points to it on your map.
    Travel to the point between the where you are and Umar Hills and then travel to Umar Hills.

    You can go to the Council building in the government district. One of the cowled wizards will ask you to hunt Valygar, that'll open Umar Hills for you.

    Yup. If it's on your world map, you can get to it. If you've gone to De'Arnise Hold, travel there first, let the map load. Then walk off to the right of De'Arnise Hold and to Umar Hills. Once you travel this way, you'll be able to hit Umar Hills from anywhere on your map.

    If you haven't been outisde the city and this is the first place you're going to in the wilderness, you must exit Athkatla via the City Gates.

    In addition to the above posts, sometimes that little kid hangs around the Slums or in the center of the park in the Government District -even after you have talked to him previously.
