Can't solve the fake-egg quest

    [​IMG] I can't solve this quest because Phere (this Drow-princess) won't talk to me. She always stops before giving me her fake-eggs and the key. I edited (cheated Extremist would say) the global variables in Shadow Keeper and gave my character the necessary items but would there have been a "fair" solution?

    [​IMG] not sure but it kinda sounds like a bug. if thats the case you would have to reset the proper variable, whatever that might be, to 0. this would be done with either shadow keeper or via debug mode.

    As I said I solved the problem by editing the variable phaerejob from 9 to 10 I think.
    Then Solaufein(the male guy) appeard and the quest went on. I just wanted to know if there had been a non-cheating solution.

    [​IMG] There was a way of course.

    To get fake eggs from Phaere you would have to give her Solaufein's Cloak as a proof you killed him.
    Of course, you have two options to get the cloak - to kill him or to tell him what's going on and help him get away.

    Messing with the game variables is totally bad idea. Especially messing from within ShadowCheater. You don't even know what other variables were involved in that quest and when game starts to behave strange for messing with that, noone will be able to help you. Not even Bioware.

    No the dialoge I mean takes place later. You give her the cloak, then you have to get the blood from Illithids, then she wants you to betray this drow-mother. That's the point where she should give you the eggs. But she doesn't.
    I know it's dangerous to change the variables but my brother played that part before so I knew what it should be like.

    I suppose there was some time between those action, after you gave Pheare the cloak, you leave and later she appears again and asks you to visit her own house for an important talk. And then she comes with the egg-idea. After that, you can talk to Salufein and he will give you fake eggs.
