[IMG] I do not know how to edit my own messages don't all have a go at me for starting another post. As I said my main PC wont speak to anybody since I did the Illithid Liar and Aran Lindvail will not talk to anybody else. I was so looking forward to trying to kill Arkanis Gath on the way to Bhodi. If there is any known solution to this most inconvient and down right annoying occurance please dispatch it to me as soon as you can.

On another note I am way short on cash for Cromwell, any tips on raising thousands quickly?

Steal from the thieves (...noone crosses the Shadow thieves and lives!...) and sell stuff to other thieves :)

1st: The little pen and paper icon at the top of your post lets you edit
2nd: The only way to kill the Arkanis Gath would be to ask Aran for hishelp in killing
Bhodi. He will send him and some others to help you. If, however, you get him to attack you in the shadow theives base, he is invincible (IIRC) and your party will die.
3rd:To make quick money, you could always just sell any items you don't plan on using.

Try going back to a saved game before this bug occured, and if everything is normal, just carry on from there.

I raised over fifty thousand gold coins before reaching chapter three, you just have to keep your eyes open.

Okay, does anyone in your party specialize in darts or crossbows? If not, you can get a crap load of money from selling bolts of lightning and darts of wounding, etc. Also, do every side quest that you can possibly do. Many of them lead to large amounts of money/experience. Oh yeah, and search every cranny and nook for gold. Passing up a coin here or there leads to a lot of loss towards the end of the game.

Trouble is that bloody Smithy demands at least 7,500 for every weapon and the Crom cost 10,000... I didn't realise this a belw all my money on Scrolls and cool stuff from the bonus shopkeepers who i recently downloaded... I may have to resort to Shadow Keeper which I have but have never used. Technically it's cheating but at the same time I can justifying at time saving.

Rather use in-game cheats then, if you must. (Check out http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/BG2/cheats.php). Since you have to do it all manually there, you'll be less tempted (hopefully) than if you start using Shadowkeeper. Everyone I know that wanted to use it only once ended up hacking their entire game with it all the time. You'll see the same attitude here all over the boards... Everyone will point you to Shadowkeeper for even the smallest of problems, as if there was no other possible solution in the world.
Shadowkeeper is a very useful tool, but not something you are supposed to be using in tandem with the game all the time.

Just my two cents worth I guess. It's way too late to stop the tide now. :D
