Carolyn Rauch of the Entertainment Software Association has been interviewed by Gamecloud on the E3 2005. Here's an excerpt:

Gamecloud - First, this is the 11th anniversary of E3Expo. Do you feel that the show is continuing to meet the goals that the ESA has set for itself?

Carolyn Rauch - Absolutely. E3Expo is a show by exhibitors, for exhibitors. And exhibitors continue to express their satisfaction with the show, as reflected by the fact that this year’s show marks the fastest sell-out in five years. By March, exhibitors purchased enough space to occupy all five exhibit halls – more than 545, 000 square feet or 2,700 city blocks – at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). The show also continues to draw tens of thousands of industry professionals from almost 90 countries to experience the future of interactive entertainment. We're pleased with the show's success, but we also continually strive to make it the best place on earth for exhibitor and attendees alike to get down to the business of fun.
